It depends on where in Seoul you are at. If you are staying in a decent hotel then you can catch one of the big buses that go to the airport, they are very nice and reasonably priced at about twenty bucks, they even call them “airport limousines” when in fact they are only very nice buses. If you are not fortunate enough to stay at on of the nice hotels I recommend you take a taxi to one of them and then take the nice bus to the airport. A sole taxi to the airport may run you $130.00 so that’s a bit too much. Recommended hotels are Hilton, Holiday Inn, Marriott, Hyatt, Swiss Grand or the Shilla. Good Luck…and don’t take the subway, they have way too many steps for someone with luggage.

At this stage you can’t get to the Incheon airport by subway, they haven’t completed that line yet.
The best way is to take one of the airport buses, that go from most big hotels, and you can also catch them on the side of the road, if you see a bus stop with a blue square and white ariplane.
You can however take the subway to Kimpo airport from line 5 (The purple line) then you can also take buses to Incheon from there, which take about 40 minutes.

    I traveled to Korea recently.
you have to take a limousine bus, and it is the easiest way to get there.
It’s easy, you can easily find it on-line.
it takes about 1 hour at the most i think.

but you need to know where you are located in Seoul.

the easiest one is Airport Limousine Bus.
    the fee’s 12,000 won
and it takes less than 2 hours

By far the best way (as there is no metro) is by COACH and it does not take more than 1 hour. If you are central enough then buses leave from a number of places including on the main street in Gangnam (Kangnam) and the bus will have airport written across it.
There are several coaches from main places including also Itaewon.

Take subway line #5 (purple one) west bound all the way to the international airport. It’s easy! jason

Cheap, comfy and easy to take the KAL Limousine…passes thru major hotels to and from Kimpo and Incheon. You don’t have to be a hotel resident to ride…
